H1 I’m not good enough to profitably continue so I fold. Maybe some people can profitably call here.

H2 is a usually fold sometimes 3 bet depending on my image and if I think a 3 bet gets the pot heads up. Without a nit image I fold.

Make your money against nits by outplaying w/position. So much more profitable to call in position with connectors or small pairs when their hands are obvious and yours is disguised. Then you can bluff more easily, or when you flop big, get one, maybe two bets out of strong one-pair hands (depending on how nitty they are.) If you had position in hand 1 and villian limp re-raised for the same amounts, I'd definitely call.

My question to you is what type of nits are they? Here's my list, hoping to hear about others.

1) Call-station nits- usually plays strong starters but way too attached, makes loose calls w/AK high on flop ... calls multiple streets with under pairs to the board

2) Nut-peddling nits- much looser pre, limping and calling raises often. To stack them, you'll need a str8 flush vs the nut flush or quads vs top boat. If they bet, you can fold unless you're getting good odds to beat whatever's currently the nuts

3) Borderline nits - have an occasionally bluff and sometimes bet for value well. They're tight pre and post flop. They're just short of a good player because their range and lines are predictable, so often they can be outplayed. They also might become too stubborn after being bullied and start paying off too much post flop. Then they basically become a Call-station nit.

villain in hand 1 is in the 3) category

IMO, the "solid reg" category of nit is the type that 3 bets pretty wide and is somewhat loose pre, but very very nitty post flop, that's why i really liked the flop, the solid reg was using some pretty good lines pre flop but got super nitty post, like checking top/top on drawy boards

i think we may be able to exploit that by taking more flop IP. I was doing that a lot and trying to bluff my way out but he would check two streets and was looking to c/c even with monsters and didn't seem to have much of a c-bet %, even tho he was on the LAG side pre, he was not aggressive at all post. I tried at first to bluff him off hands when checked to but it wasn't working because he was in check call mode every single time. I would put him in the 2) category of nit
