Re: 2/5 overfold turn with TPTK vs nit

Probably one of the worst hands you can call with pre given RIO...and I'm not 3b a nit with this hand, you could make a case for 3b AJs. Every time you flop a pair you aren't gonna be that happy with it.

He's right, and maybe you should evaluate why everyone is disagreeing with you instead of getting defensive and hurling insults.

Also, when we say AJo is a 3bet or fold, that doesn't mean we want to 3bet it in this spot. It means fold > 3bet >>>>>>>>>>>>>> call

Re: 2/5 overfold turn with TPTK vs nit

I'm more like fold >>>>>>>>> 3bet >> call in this instance, it's just that adjusting how loose the raiser is only ever moves fold or 3bet to the top, flatting is never best.

Edit: Like I wrote this

What I meant in longer form was "Heads up vs a raiser with AJo only ever threebet or fold pre. Against this guy in particular, fold".

Re: 2/5 overfold turn with TPTK vs nit

Calling preflop raises with AJ is bad in general. Calling a nits preflop raise with AJ is insanely terrible.

Id rather have 22 / 87s / J8s or any number of other hands than AJ.
