2/5 - OOP with TT in 3bet pot

Been at table about 20min and Vil appears to be a maniac. Playing 90% of hands with a PFR. By the conversations he is also very tilted. Have not seen him 3bet yet. I haven't been involved at all so far. Vil2 has been in a lot of pots but very passive. Appears to be a limp-call station.

Vil2 limps in EP
Hero raises to $30 with TT in MP
Vil1 in LP 3bets to $65 and he's the eff stack of about $500
Vil2 calls
Hero calls

3 ways to flop Q77r - Pot ~$195

Vil2 check
Hero check
Vil1 bets $75

Vil2 fold
Hero?

Pre-flop seems standard but I considered a 4-bet. This guy is clearly a tilting maniac and V2 seemed like such a passive station. Not really a fan of 4-betting TT in LLSNL but this might be a rare spot where it's possible. I'm not going to like a lot of flops and this guy is going to be blasting hard.

OTF I'm not really thrilled. He can easily have all sorts of Qx. He also will have all sorts of nonsense but i can't stand a 2nd or 3rd barrel. I don't have enough reads on his post flop tendencies other than "generally fast and loose" since i've only been here 20min.

Thanks

^^ That for sure

As played, it seems worth a call OTF getting laid like 3.5 to 1. He can't just blast multiple barrels with impunity because most of your calling range is stuff like AQ or KQ or even A7s/87s/77, which won't be folding. So it's fine to have 88-JJ here as hands that call once and are folding to any further bets.

Re: 2/5 - OOP with TT in 3bet pot

If V1 is a maniac as you say, the optimal way to beat these kind of players is to tighten your pre flop ranges especially OOP. V1 will make more mistakes calling than betting, and putting your V1 on a track for failure is always +EV.

4b jam shove pre against V in this spot as his 3b range in LP most likely consists of many KQs, 55+ type hands. TT is way ahead of his PF range here, which will help you avoid sticky flop situations such as these. Also a polarized 4b here will likely fold out V2 for most of his range, increasing your overall equity in the hand.

However, OTF in your situation, given the fact that you only flatted the 3b he's never going to believe that you have a hand like JJ+ because of obvious reasons. This is one of those interesting spots where both your ranges hit this board pretty evenly, so I usually prefer to check/call these kind of board textures.

Here's the equity distribution of this board texture given what I presume to be a reasonable assumption for MP1 and LP ranges:

http://www.pokerstrategy.com

Board: 7dQs7s

Equity Win Tie
MP1 49.93% 47.13% 2.80%

{ TT-55, AJs-A9s, KJs+, QTs+, JTs, AQo-AJo, KQo }

CO 50.07% 47.27% 2.80%

{ 66+, A5s+, K9s+, Q9s+, JTs, ATo+, KTo+, QTo+ }

Re-evaluate OTT, go from there. But mainly your mistake stemmed from that 3b flat with TT against a V who has an incredibly wide 3b range from LP.

Also this exactly. You're getting more than fair pot odds to continue OTF here check/call. Fold to any further action as he's likely going to slow down OTT given that your check/call range has a lot of Qx.
