Hero casino reg in his 30s perceived as tight solid (1650)

Villain is a PLO player who plays well at NLH, think solid 2/5 reg (covers with 2700)

V opens to 35 in MP, folds to hero who 3-bets to 125 from CO, folds to V who 4-bets to 325, Hero calls.

Flop: QJ6

V bets 250, Hero calls

Turn T

V bets 400, Hero ???

So pre- I called to keep my range wider and given my read that he would put me on an extremely strong range if I 5-bet...also my stack seemed a little deep to be jamming AK,QQ for value, If I had below 1200 I prob would just have jammed pre- as I would have done so with AK.

Flop seems standard, I have a great hand and only a T and maybe a K will hurt me...then T on the turn...do I have to go with it or can I get away? I beat KK and random airball bluffs Ax5x etc.

All in pre. We aren't that deep at 160bbs eff.

Shove and pray he rolls over KK. Can’t see how we can fold here. If he has QQ or AK, gg.

Id start calling pre at 200bb+.

Flop is fine

Turn id let it go we beat nothing, and i expect KK to have checked turn or flop at a decently high freq combined

This has KK trying to pot control all over it. You’Re in terrible shape here. Live reads could make me call or fold. Never shoving turn.

Just shove pre. I don't think you're deep enough to need to flat AA, and I doubt he's getting away from KK.

AP, I'm leaning towards a call. IMO his hand looks a lot like KK trying to pot control. I don't think he'd downbet the flop and turn so much with a set, nor with AK. Expect a lot of checks on river (and pray for a K).

Like $580 pre.

Being “deep enough to flat” is one of the weirdest things I’ve heard wrt holding aces.

If we're going to 5bet, why wouldn't we just jam to make it look like we have bluffs in our range?

I'm generally fine with not having a 5bet range pre though, unless we have an image that we can 5bet with things other than AA.
