2/5 Not sure if I donked or made someone reasonable call

Effective stacks $400

Villian just sat down 5 hands ago, never seen before.

Villian UTG+2 :raise to $15

Hero CO: 6c 4c, calls

Everyone else folds, HU

Flop: Ad 9h 6d

Villian checks

Hero bets $20, Villiain calls

turn: 4s

Villian bets $35, hero raises to $100 Villain shoves, hero...?

Now obviously this has high level of donkage in it already getting up to this point, but faced to call $270 to win $535:

Is he playing like this with AK AQ? looking back probably not, but possibly with nut flush draw and bluff, but only maniacs would bluff like this. Maybe AA or 99? Probably was played here but not sure.

Obvious snap fold is obvious.

Edit to add more: I fold pre vs an unknown unless we think many more are coming along.

AP: I need reads on V, but the lack of a c-bet on this board makes me suspicious. I might take one stab, but if he calls, I am done with the hand.

AP to turn. Now we have some SDV and can check to realize it cheaply. Check turn. AP, see first line.

So villain donked turn? We can't check turn if villain donks.

Fold pre though - you aren't deep enough to play this hand.

I'd just call turn btw - raising it is bad as you never get worse to call and you got yourself in a stupid spot for no good reason.

Calling pre flop is worse than the turn raise imo.

As played fold to an unknown Only way i'm ever calling this off is if I knew villain was a huge whale and would dump it in with any 1 pair hand

Yeah, I misread. I fold to the turn donk, tbqh. I give an unknown no credit for being able to float until shown otherwise.

After the raise pre, c/c flop, donk turn - it seems like AA or 99 taking a funny line, but who knows. However, once he 3bet ships I know I'm dead in the water. Fold. Play deeper next time so that you can play hands like 46s in position.
