Hand #1:

SB: Loose passive villain ($1500) - Extremely tight raising range. Raises maybe once every hour or two.
BB: Hero ($750) 53

Preflop:
2 limpers, SB raises to $25, Hero???

I know with Axs or a Suited connector it would be with a no brainer. Probably actually would with 86s, but is 53s against his range much different than 86s? Really just want to flop two pair or better, or a good draw.

Does poker stove work for a mac computer? Might be helpful I guess

Hand #2

SB: bad aggro villain ($1300) - Shoved multiple times with A high against a flop raise and got stacked. 3-bet shoved the flop against me with a pair of 2's and got stacked
Utg+2: Hero ($750) AJ
Btn: Loose passive villain ($1000) - limps wide. Calls raises a bit wider, but tighter than his limping range.

Preflop:
2 Limpers, Hero raises to $35, Btn calls, SB calls

Flop: ($105) J96
Hero bets $75, Btn calls $75, SB calls $75

Turn: ($330) 8
SB checks, I check, Btn bets $125, SB calls $125, I call $125

River: ($705) 3
SB checks, I check, Btn bets $200, Hero???

Should I have bet the turn? Was concerned since I got 2 callers. The bad aggro guys range is def really wide. Didn't like the 8 and could def see QT in their range. Didn't realize until after the hand how much money was in the middle.

On the river, don't think loose passive villain is every bluffing (maybe a very very small % since he bet twice into 2 players). Do you think he would check his QJ/KJ or be betting them on the river?

Hand 1: I'd say fold >>> 3-bet to 75 > call, as flatting will probably set of a chain of calls and 53s didn't play well multiway OOP. Odds of flopping 2pair are low (single digits), same for flush. You'd have to be a lot deeper to play this profitably, and again, IP is a totally different story.

Hand 2: I'd check/ship the turn with NFD+TPTK, you have decent FE and a 12-out draw, and a nice size pot of +100bb. AP, you need to call; plenty of JT, T9, QJ in BU range, and V2 should raise 2-pair on a draw heavy board.

Also, start mentally calculating pot size on all streets before action commences!

Hand 1: Your just deep enough to consider a call with low suited one gappers. This is the sort of call I would make some small % of the time if I know the original raiser is going to lose at least some money post flop if hero hits. If there is any risk of the limpers raising or the limpers are short, then folding is better. Your OOP position against them and can't call any further preflop action. Your looking for two loose limpers with 100BB+ here, since they are not likely to fold after you call. I don't much like bluffing here because SB's range here is very strong and has a lot of hands that will come over the top of your raise or which will be hard to get him to fold.

Hand 2: Looks fine, check/fold river. You can't really bet turn with with two callers on flop and a bad turn card, odds are too great that your behind. However, the small bet and caller in front gives you great odds to chase your flush draw. Against one, check/shove is good with lots of outs and some FE but against two villains I don't like it.
