$1000 eff.
My image, young TAG. V is a middle-aged, white, businessman recreational player, not a reg. I wasn't at the table for long, 20 mins or so, V has played only a couple of hands. I'm in BB with J8o.
UTG+2 loose passive fish limps.
V in SB makes it $10. That's right $10. It's a weirdly small raise which I believe gives me pot odds to call extra $5 considering loose-passive UTG+2 will likely just call giving me super pot odds even with this crappy hand. I call, UTG+2 obliges.
Flop: JJ9r Pot ~ $30 V bets $20, I decide to slowplay (bad?) and flat, UTG+2 goes away.
Turn: T Pot ~ $70 V bets $40, I make it $120, V makes it $360.
You, why and please provide a plan for future streets.

I don't mind the flop flat in this situation. Villain will have a lot of pocket pairs in their range that your ahead of and lots of other hands you crush. With no information on villain, I don't like the turn raise. Your going to blow off most of the hands your beating and if villain does have a hand that doesn't fold it probably beats you. Villain likely has a straight, better JX or a boat. The small pocket pairs are going to slow up on turn here. Over pairs are the only hand that might take this route that you beat, and they are highly unlikely given the play of the hand.
As played, I fold to the turn reraise. Villain is very unlikely to be drawing or have a worse hand when they raise here. When you raise turn your hand looks very strong here, and villain still reraised OOP. If villain has J9 or better your drawing to chop, against TT/99 you have few outs. Only against a straight do you have reasonable outs, and catching a low boat here has a high risk of improving you to the second best boat.

I would just call turn.
If alot of money goes in I think we are losing. By raising we are repping a J at a minimum whereas if we call our range is wider. I want him to continue with his air as well.
Once he 3 bets the turn this is an easy fold. I really doubt he is doing this with an overpair.

A 3 bet on the turn is extremely strong by villain...I would fold to the raise. Don't like the raise on the turn either...the T was a very good card for villain's range. It'd be very rare for him to show up here with an overpair or straight draw.
As played, fold to bet on river.

Playing J8o in EP = long term recipe for disaster.

He's the bb and has to call 1 more bb, if you can't play this spot profitably you should quit.
Raising turn is really bad. Call 3 times unless v bets huge otr, then maybe fold.
As played fold now

We are at the bottom of our turn value raising range. And we got 3bet.
Bye bye hand.
