Pot = $85 + $85 + $240 + $840 = $1250, have to call $600...

Doesn't look like you're getting the right odds. You have to assume that you are beat, at least for now. Best case scenario you are racing against AcKc, although a straight on the turn kills 6 of his outs.

Pot is approx. 1205 (you said at the beginning effective stacks of 1k), you have 800 left, getting 1.5-1 on a call with at least 8 outs (maybe as many as 10), and two shots at it. I think if you check raised more on the flop you are probably committed (which, incidentally, I would recommend, because you give him 2.5 to 1 on a call, and you need to make stronger moves than that imo).

With no reads and only 1.5 to 1 pot odds I think I have to lay it down. Could be a set, 2P, FD w/two overs, or overpair. Overpair feels most likely to me (like villain doesn't want his KK or QQ cracked and wants to prove it), in which case you're priced out. It's close but I say fold.

fold and wat does 3betting here do? if u think hes the type to laydown an overpair when facing a bet like this then yea i could see it. other then that the 3bet has to be a bad play cuz it basically turns ur hand into a bluff right?
