I definitely need much more than 2 hands of history on ANY V before I can fold a set on this dry of a flop. Fear of being set-over-setted will cost you much more in the long run than it will save you.

The only times I have folded a set it has been due to strong read on V's stack-off range and raise/re-raising history combined with a dry flop where there is a 3, 4, or 5 bet happening. For me it takes all of those factors for the picture to be clear enough that I can confidently fold a set. Otherwise I'm going for that 1 outer and rebuying once felted.

When I look back through my session notes and read that I was set over setted, or lost with AA all in pre, I know that I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing and come back the next time ready to do it all over again. But when I start shipping all in on a semi-bluff when I have zero fold equity, I know I need to re-evaluate things.

I think his range is QQ+ and sets largely. 18 combos of overpairs, 6 combos of sets. I think I'll play for stacks in this hand.

Best play is probably call and hope he fires turn

Really not. Very rarely will an older V limp QQ in EP, as they don't see it as strong enough to l/rr. Even more rarely will they limp JJ, though on those rare occasions when they will, they are l/c it, not l/rr.

for 100bbs, how are we folding this? if we were like 200bbs then yeah, consider the hero fold. I'd call flop to keep overpairs in, and try to GII on turn and river.

I see OMC's limp with QQ and JJ pretty regularly...actually seems to be a trend growing among them...haha. The only thing is they are not doing it is to l/rr...just looking to flat a raise a set-mine.

I would call the 130 and get the rest in on the turn.

I already read spoiler, but at this stack size, I can't find a fold, 200bb deep sure but not even 100bb deep he could flip his hand over to me and i'm still snap calling
