AJ is the worst RIO hand to call a raise with. I'd rather you called with JT or J9 than AJ.
As played, you are paying off AA, KK, AK 95% of the time here.
Only reason I'd call a PFR with AJ is if I'm in position calling a player with a super wide raising range. And then in that case, I'm probably 3-betting 50% of the time...
But yeah, eff stacks are only $300, you were min-raised by the SB FFS, seriously, you gotta fold those pretty suited connectors.
Calling with a RIO hand merely because it's a pretty suited connector is what fish do
or put another way, whenever our plan is to flop/turn the nuts then its not a good spot to be in when calling a raise (especially when we aren't getting 15:1 or better in implied odds).
