Table has been fairly loose so far and many people have been straddling. Hero (1200) straddles this hand . Villian (1000) is UTG and opens to 40. He is aggresive and been active in the last hour that I've been there but we haven't played any hands . Fish flats MP. Folds to hero who looks at KJss and decides to 3bet to 160. Both call
Flop

Hero bets 250 . Villian shoves all in . Fish folds .
Thoughts on the hand please including preflop
You straddled UTG I assume?
3bet is bad. Do you really expect much FE against a UTG raiser? And when you're called, you're often dominated or up up against a big pair. You're just setting yourself up to be in a really bad spot SPR-wise OOP.
The flop was good for you, you got top pair, but I just see no reason to bet half pot here. Bet smaller.
Which card is not a heart? That will effect ranges and equities. Also do you have a BDFD??
My feeling is that it's probably a fold. Villain's range just has to be pretty strong with flop allin, and you're not so high up in your value range (assuming you also have AK, AA, TT, KK, and some KQs). But you've put in so much of your stack and have top pair getting close to 3 to 1. It's close I guess. I'd probably need to poker stove some ranges after knowing exact board cards.
