Hero - 27 year old look like I could be 21.....NorthFace coat, just got moved to main from a must move table maybe three orbits ago....made a couple hundred at the main without showdown....shown aggression on all streets when ive entered any pots at this table thus far and havent had to turn cards over...~$950

villain - 55 year old white male- watching the office on his phone with his earbuds in on my direct right....a little splashy and seems to know a lot of people at the casino so id guess a reg....shown a bluff or two so can make moves....has hero covered...

Hero has KK in CO

UTG+1 limp, MP Limps, Villain limps, Hero raises to $35, Limpers all tag along to see flop for the $35...villain called after some deliberation it seemed....not wanting to raise but thinking whether the price is right to call with his hand or not....

FLOP: Q 3 2 Pot = $140~ after rake and BBJ

UTG +1 checks, MP checks, villain checks, Hero Bets $85, fold, fold, Villain calls quick...

Turn: 6 Pot= $310

Villain checks, Hero checks? ....thought welcome here...figured i wasnt getting three streets of value with one pair and could get either a bluff on river from villain if he misses or bet river when checked to....but he could be on spades so not sure if a free card is smart here but i also dont want to get check-bombed off the best hand on turn....anyways.....

River: 3 Pot = $310

Villain bets $160 as the river is being laid on the felt, Hero snap calls

I would appreciate any feedback on all streets especially turn....but any thoughts would help a low limit grinder....

thanks guys...

What exactly are we afraid of with that board that makes us check the turn?

Yes, Villain called the flop bet, he must have had something.

No matter, if we were beat then we are beat now, and it only costs us $160 more.

If we lost.

If we won maybe we got $160 that we wouldn't have already got.

Line seems OK to me.

Hand is played fine IF you checked the turn to induce or because you felt you could only get 2 streets. Nothing to be afraid of OTT.

River is a snap, as you did.

Def bet the turn. His range seems to be weighted with Q's and flush draws and med pairs like 1010 99 88. You can get value, likely more than his river bet in the turn. And another value bet on river. I don't think people value bet enough. I've been working on that, basically value betting the ***** out of people and am amazed how light players will call.

I think this line is pretty strong. I might go for three streets of value against a V who seems a bit less competent but against someone who seems to be a thinking player, I don't mind checking turn and calling river. I don't want to be blown off my hand by a turn check raise, and I think 22,33 and 54 are all in this Vs limp/call range preflop. I think he probably would have raised QQ or AQ, probably KQ, and while he'll probably pay us off with QJ on this board, or continue to chase a flush draw, checking the turn keeps his range very wide. He can bet the river with 77-JJ, any Q or missed spades.

Bet the turn! It worked out okay here but generally we can't count on an anonymous villain to bet the river. I'd rather get two streets on this textured flop and turn and take a free showdown than risk the river checking through.

Multi-way I am betting closer to pot on the Flop $120.

Bet Turn.

As played looks like V took the bait, call.

I like the check turn line in position. It's very hard to get three streets of value on dry flops like this. Unless you have a very specific read that villain is a station, this line prevents us from being blown off our overpair. The few times we miss value when we check OTT and villain c/f missed draws on the river is mitigated when the times he bluffs those draws OTR.

Bet turn 100% of the time all day.

You shouldn't be worried about being checked bombed off the best hand OTT. This V is probably rarely delay c/ring draws. If he does this often with his draws. We have to B/c and decide on riv or B/shove.

Against this guy, B/f turn is prob best because this isn't the greatest board for us against his limp-along semi-tank and call pf, c/c flop, c/r turn range
