Villain has called a PFR with A6s, checked, check/raised, and then jammed river with the nut flush on JT6ssQ7s
Also 3bet ATs from the SB and continued 105 into 150 on 763fd w/o a flush draw, then x'd down QA run out

Hero is pretty aggro overall and over cbets

Stacks are $1000 effective

On to the hand
I open 7Ts in MP to $15 (not my standard opening range but table has been very tight pre), villain calls from BB
Flop: K74 ($27 minus rake)
Villain leads $25, I make it $75, villain calls

I raised for a couple reasons - the board is draw heavy so we get value vs those hands, we probably fold out better 7s or 88/99/maybe TT though he may 3bet that pre, and we set up the possibility of multi street bluffs, plus protect vs two overs. I do not have a read that he leads top pair here, though of course he could

Turn: 3 ($177)
Villain checks, I bet $120, villain calls

well 56s got there, not really a scare card, I think we can probably actually check back here, I opted to bet with the plan of jamming flush rivers but I think thats probably a bit spewy

River: J ($417)
Villain leads $250, I fold
KJ, 56s, clubs, maybe even KQ that is blocking betting but I doubt it all make sense, jamming isn't really large enough to get him to fold much, lets just stop spewing off our chips

Pre is bad, but you know that. You had your reasons.

I actually like the flop raise. I check behind turn or bet a little smaller, which should accomplish the same thing. River fold is standard.

As long as you have a proper flop raising range then this all looks pretty routine to me. I also wouldn't consider this a so-called 'bluff'.

Follow your thought process, maybe a little smaller ($100) ott.

Is $15 your normal open in that spot?

OP: how does Villain perceive Hero image-wise so you think?

I don’t really think in terms of bluff or value this early nor do I have many flop raises at all on most boards. I think calling donk leads allows for more punishment later in the hand.

Following your line of thought i check turn because i cannot think of a hand that will call our flop raise that can fold turn with 3 to 1 with implieds.
Also because position.

fold pre, just call flop, check turn, and fold river

1 outta 4 aint bad

I raise T7s in MP plenty of times when conditions are right. Ignore the nits.
