Any input and thoughts on all streets greatly appreciated. I feel like I have trouble with mid PP's quite often. Not sure this hand is even thread worthy but oh well.

AP, fold river. 99/88 could be going for thin value. Hands like 86s/65s also moved ahead.

Turn - picking up a GS w/mid-pr, I'd B/F $40 for value.

Doesn't smell like a Ten (since he checked the unr) and FD hearts missed. You block a lot of the str8 draws V could have had on the flop, so this is either a 6 or air IMO. Not many players are v-betting 99/88 for thin value at these levels IMO.

Gonna be a feel thing at the table for me, although V's sizing looks pretty strong. I probably call though

This is a check/call on the flop for me. Plenty of better value hands and draws that I’d like to be betting.

Aren't you giving over cards a free chance to catch up? Plus you having no idea what over cards, if any, the villain holds.

Thanks for the feedback folks, good stuff:

I called because I did feel like my line was a little weak and thought he either had a 6 or air and he rolled over 65s. NH sir.

Sure, you're going to lose some pots where they check behind and hit a better pair. But more often you're going to be in good shape when he checks. You're in a much worse spot when he calls your flop bet and you're now OOP on the turn against a range that crushes yours. I prefer to check these, usually with the intention of calling a bet or betting safe turns if he checks behind. I'm also taking this delayed c-bet line with some bluffs that want to take the pot after he shows weakness on the flop.
