V1 ($1,000+) - has been fairly active playing random junk and raising pre flop with junk. Has gotten away from hands, haven't had any battles with vill since he has folded every time.

V2 ($1,000+) - not really a factor but similar as V1 but have had a few battles where he tried to three barrel but I hero called.

Hero ($800ish) - seen as tight but solid and have been shown respect especially after hero calling.

Hero limps in EP with ATss
folds to V1 who makes it $15 in the SB, BB calls, I complete.

($45) Flop = J82ss
V1 bets $25, V2 folds, hero calls.

($95) Turn = Ax
V1 bets $60, hero calls.

($215) River = 9x
V1 bets $115, hero ????

So before it gets said, I am well aware of the big draw that I was holding. Seeing as how my image was tight I did not want to scare off a lot of V1's holdings and continue to let him bluff OOP...also vill rarely took hands down to the end that had any action without 2 pair+. Then when the time was right get a value raise to get more chips in the middle.

What do we see the action being on the river here? I definitely put V on a Jack but what are peoples thoughts?

Preflop : I usually open for a raise here. In general I don't like open limping.

Flop : Flatting and just playing IP is fine here IMO. If I were to raise, it would be to build the pot for the times we hit, and to possibly barrel off certain board runouts.
Turn : Again just cool with flat calling. Not sure if a raise gets us value

River : The biggest question is this : Can he accidentally value bet worse, like KK/QQ/Jx? Can he barrel off draws? Does he ever get here with a weaker Ace? If he can do this sometimes, it's probably a call IMO. It really feels we're getting taken to value town by a better Ax here though.

Definitely agree with an open raise then. Should probably re title your thread to ATs in MP then.
