2/5

BB - Hero - $360 - waiting for the button to pass to top up. playing really tight.
UTG - $800 - sorta tight, young grinder type
UTG+1 - $600 - tight, fit-or-fold woman
MP+1 - $1200 - brown guy, sorta LAGgy. Saw him bluff raise turn and river with 34hh missed FD+gutshot vs. a tight fit or fold older woman (not UTG+1) (she folded, he showed and she tilted...) Sorry to be insensitive but IME most "brown guys" are similarly loose/aggro, it had to be said...

6 limpers, Hero checks with KT.

Flop ($35) 9TJ

Hero bets $25, UTG UTG+1 MP+1 all call

Turn ($135) 7

Hero bets $100, UTG call, UTG+1 fold, MP+1 calls

River ($435) T

Hero checks (folding to any bet)

It's a weird spot because I probably have a decent amount of equity but it's hard to say how much.

There's no particularly loose-passive players in the hand either which I think is important.

I bet flop and turn for value and as a semibluff? Kind of a paradox I know, but Jx for sure is folding here (unless it's AJx which is probably raising pre, or at some point post), I think 2p folds turn if not folding or raising flop. But Ax and Qx are likely calling, most of which I am ahead of with mid pair+K.

I'm not too worried about 8x taking the lead and deciding to continue ott since 8x probably cannot flat that flop (unless specifically A8x? Or pair+8? But I think the latter folds turn anyway).

River doesn't really change my hand, I guess I beat QJ or something like that now but it's still an easy c/f.

It's a tough hand because there's a lot to consider. I don't think checking flop or turn make much sense though. Should I just be giving up at some point?

Hmm ... if your read was betting the turn for value and your hand improved on the river, I think you need to at least check-call. No one raised the turn, so if your read was good, need to call, especially after ~35% stack invested. You also have a blocker to a straight and flush.

I'm probably check-calling the entire way (or c/f turn) with so many players behind.

This is a really gross turn spot because your betting into a herd of flop callers with a rio draw that may or may not have much equity. It's a limped pot and your oop. There is huge question marks on ranges. Minus ev ott

don't bet into this field with your hand, its bad. Barreling the turn is also bad. chf the river.
