Hero (850) ~30 white male, normally play 1/2 but it's sat. night so taking a shot. Table is pretty slow and snug so I've been playing fairly tight. Only showed down one or two hands, one where I flopped a set and c/c 2 streets on a 2-flush board then led blank river for ~2/3 pot and was good.

V (1200) ~30s white male with lipper in, seems decent and is also playing snug but has showed down one hand where he 3b KK pre and ended up calling down with 1pair and was good.

There is significantly more chopping/allowing walks/open-limping than I see at most tables, so the dynamic is pretty slow.

Hero with T9 in BB, 5 limps including V in MP hero checks his option.

When his most likely hands are pairs and pair+SD combos do we lead here? Figured his range was rarely so weak as a lone 8 so most of his holdings have some sort of marginal SDV leaving him without a ton of incentive to bluff if we check to him. He can rep 89 but not a ton else. Thoughts?

And you should be sizing large since his calling range is mainly bluff catches or made hands. And you want it to be easy to get in the money if he does raise.

You block Tx KT, etc.

So he really would never call your triple barrels light, so he has a made hand or not. Since hes much more likely to make a calling mistake than a betting mistake, you need to take the bet line unless you have merit otherwise.

The sizing should be even bigger than $115. $135-$155.

$140-$150 His range is pretty inelastic

nh. I might have gone $100 because it's so much "easier" to call. I know, $100 vs. $115 is not much, but psychologically it can be.

$50 or $200 imo.

Rest of the hand looks good till then.
