Real good table with a lot of loose/bad players. Villain is a bad LAG. Plays way too many hands, plays aggressively but poorly. He is effective stack about $450

1 Limper and Hero opens to 30 in MP with 9s9h
Villain flats in LP
Folds around and we're HU to flop:

Qh Tc 4h - Pot ~ $65

Hero check. Villain check.

Turn Jd

Hero?

Not sure if we want to lead here or go for a check call. He is definitely calling here with all Kx, Qx and 9x. Possibly calling with Jx. He will probably fold Tx. I think if I lead here and then bet river he will fold better hands like Jx and Tx. He perceives me to be tight but he's pretty bad and doesn't adjust much.

Thanks

Against this Vilain, just check/eval

I personally could find a fold to a big bet and find a better spot... you dont like a lot of rivers...

Im just looking to go to showdown vs his Ahigh and take it down.

Well played.

Edit. Didnt realize we had an open ended...
Check/call then

I am gonna lead turn bet river alot. His check on flop is super weak. Aggtards don't balance a check back range well.

Otherwise, I may check fold depending on sizing. Aggtards will likely double barrel after we check 2 streets. Our hand can't handle 2 streets.

Would X/R turn just be horrible spew? We block Villain's current best hand (K9 assuming V 3bets AK preflop) and we can have AK ourselves here. We block combo draws with X9hh. X/R can fold JX/TX and it gets further value from unpaired KX/9X. But I guess river is pretty tough to negotiate OOP.

I just figure if he's the type of player to bet turn and river a lot after we check twice we effectively don't have showdown. There are too many crap rivers, even making K-high straight isn't great...

+1 to this

I'd x/r turn then jam brick rivers. We have such a massive range advantage, being the PFR on a QTxJ board.

Think we get same result without c/r. While risking less.
But if you think your opponent is capable of folding 2pair, then go for it.

Personally I would be calling really light. As check flop raise turn jam river looks FOS
