Effective stacks ~ $700

Hero - Only been at the table maybe 3 orbits? I've played a lot of hands because I've gotten like 8's+ like 5 times already, So V views me as loose preflop.

Villain - Older guy, I'd label as a nit. I saw him flat AQos from the BB Then donk on an all board and river 2pair vs Ax

Hero doubled up through V earlier. Hero raised to 20 with KQ, X called, and V1 called.
Flop was K high, I bet 30, he check/shoved and I called.
He flipped K8 and I scooped.
(I had $200 effective)

The other hand V saw me win was me L/rr'ing and getting it in on a Q high flop with Kings vs a FD.

Anyways...

Were 6 handed and V is in the HJ. He looks at his chips, looks like hes gonna limp, but then raises to 20.
The Sb called, and Hero calls in the BB with

A9

Flop $60
A104

Sb checks, I check, V bets $35, SB folds, I call.

Turn $130
A104 9

Hero check/calls $65.

I really thought about raising here. I think V has really AK here more than anything. Mainly because he looked like he wanted to limp, and I think people are more inclined to limp with AK vs anything else in his range.

Thoughts about raising?

River $260
A104 9 Q

Hero checks, V bets $130, Hero sigh calls.

How deep are effective stacks for this hand? I usually don't see old nitty guys bet three streets with single pair hands, seems like our hand is a bluff catcher on the river.

I would fold pre. A nits range will have you dominated a lot or leave you with only one over card. Pot odds are not particularly good, your not really deep here after the raise and your OOP. After that it looks OK. If you put villain on such a tight range that folding flop is right then you should have clearly folded preflop. Turn you can lead into villain, check/call or check/raise. I would use a mix of all three, but favor check/raise on this board slightly.

River is definitely a sigh call against a nitty villain but having played the hand this way I can't see folding unless villain is so nitty that he wouldn't bet AK on river here. You under played your hand on the turn a bit and pot odds are good enough.

Dunno why you soul read him for ak... He could easily have aq or aj...

I personally am raising the turn almost 100% of the time not only for value but to protect my hand...

AP on the river I don't think you beat much...

He have 1010 or aq?

I think your read is no good. How is villain even remotely a "nit" if in a previous hand he called a raise with K8 from the blinds and c/shoved with TPBK?

He sounds like a very bad loose aggressive.

And that totally changes the hand. Pre is fine, and flop is fine. Then I think you should find a way to get all the chips in the middle starting on the turn, probably with a c/r to encourage him to lead wider than just Ax+ and then stack off with all Ax.
