Main villain is quiet (haven't seen much aggression or getting out of line) but seems to be seeing too many flops. We are $1000 effective

One limper to me in LP, I go $25 with KK, sb (villain), bb, and limper call

Flop: QT4 ($100)
Checks to me, I bet $80, SB is only caller

Turn: 6 ($260)
Sb checks, I bet $185, SB calls

River: 2 ($630)
Sb checks, I bet $175

Anyone go bigger OTT or check back the river? Or bigger OTR?

I’m going personally going a touch smaller OTT, not much tho. I think $185 is fine.
Also, I would be checking back OTR unless I have a really good read that I can go for three streets of value against this V. If you’re betting river for value here you should definitely be planning on bet/folding.

Generally check back river without a strong read on villain. You probably still have the best hand but for such a small bet better is not folding and there are not a lot of worse that call. Your hoping that he can't give up a good QX for a small bet, which is often true but villains trap here with flushes too often also.

Your line is extremely transparent and is probably only profitable against pure mouthbreathing calling stations (which a lot of LLSNL players are), so it’s not bad per se... but it leaves you open to being exploited by other good players.

I’m fine with a small bet on the river if you have a plan of action for when he shoves. Pretty tough to get called by worse but you could induce a spaz shove with a missed draw.

Your image is an important factor. If you're viewed as agg during this session, check back river. Otherwise, I like it, maybe a tad bigger on river.

I'm on a thin value push myself and I've been finding spots where I don't really expect to get called but I still do more often than I imagined. What's our reasoning here though? How do we range V? Are we are sizing down to lure in AQ, KQ? Are we trying to induce? What's or plan if we get raised? I like the line up to the river. Whether or not we go for the third barrel I think depends on our read on V. Which includes aggression level, stickiness, and perceived range.
