10-handed local 240BB Max buy in game. Villian here seems a relatively semi-loose young asian guy who limp/calls a few questionable weak hands but raises a stronger range. His postflop play is rational and straightforward. Effective stack here is $1.2k. HJ unknown raises $20,villian in CO 3bets $60 for the first time one hour into the game, hero in sb 4bets with KhKd $180,HJ folds, villian quickly calls.
Flop($375): Qc Qh 3c. hero bets $225,villian flat calls fast.
Turn($775): Jd. hero has about $800 behind.Shove,b/c,b/f,c/c,c/f .Which option is the best?Is my preflop 4bet sizing too small?Do you range bet like $125 on this dry flop?Villian can 3bet and call my 4bet with AQs,AK,TT+.I just can't see any worse hands which can call my turn bet except AcKc.c/f seems too weak given 1/3 stack in a 4bet pot
This is like the nut low runout for your 4! range and the nuts for his 4! calling range. Probably downbet flop to $125ish and check turn. a 4! calling range is pretty narrow to begin with and him calling the large flop bet strengthens it even more.
Betting 1/3-1/4 might have kept his range A BIT wider to maybe include some non-AKh or TT. By calling the 2/3 flop bet after calling your 4! his range is basically AA,KK,QQ,JJ,AhKh.
