2/5, 9 handed, $700 effective (hero covers). Villain is the same villain from my ATs hand. I don't want to ruin that thread by spoiling the action, so all I can really leave it at is villain has thus far done some limp-calling pre, and x-r hero on a T98 FD board three ways.

OTTH

Hero opens J J $25 UTG +1, loose passive calling station calls LJ, and villain calls CO.

Flop ($82): 9 7 3. Hero bets $30, LJ folds, villain raises to $150, and hero calls. I feel like our sizing is good/standard vs good opponents, but that we should probably be going about $50 here considering the weakness in our opponents. I also feel like we can fold, especially vs that sizing, on a flop, with a villain that we don't particularly know a whole lot about, and the tendency for LLSNL villains to be heavily value oriented.

Turn ($382): 6. Hero checks, and villain tank bets $250, with $300 behind. Hero?

Annoying spot. I like bigger on flop against described opponents. This is probably a fold against most detroit 2/5 players I'm thinking, but I've seen your flop sizing induce spazz as well so its close. You beat overplayed T9,98 and TT and lose to sets, 97, and T8 now. Villain would have to be creative in finding bluffs in order to have enough bluffs here. If the AT hand went to showdown that would probably help sway my decision here.

RIP it all in. If he has it he has it.

Find out.

Strategic thinking says you have no clue what he has. The board is not coordinated for any ranges.

I think you're good.

I like $50 initially but AP in turn, I think we are shoving all over pairs here a lot of the time. I really don’t know what else hero could have by turn other than pocket pairs. Let’s rip it in here with almost all those pocket pairs and pray to the poker gods for a good runout.

If we bet 60 on the flop and he bumps it up to ~200, i think we can easily fold flop. With the smaller sizing we might have induce from worse value so i peel once.

AP fold turn. JJ is around the bottom of our range in this spot. We don't want to be all in on the river when almost every hand we could have is better than this one and villain has few semibluffs and almost no worse value.

Gii with KK+ imo, so villain can at least have TT-QQ himself.

Hero folds and villain shows TT. Blah.
