Why is it surprising?
This flop is amazing for villains 3bet call range?
Also the reason I wouldn't bet the flop.

Villain can have all straights, all two pairs and all sets.
We're less likely to have some of them. (If that even matters.)
Villain can even have slow played AA/KK/QQ some of the time, definitely AK/AQ, are these people really going to fold that?

FWIW, there's still the issue of whether our range is linear or polarized. I would also try a 25% bet size.

Just because a flop favors our opponent, it doesn't mean that we never bet it.

Also, on any flop, if we have position, we are allowed to bet more.

Is villain really open/calling here with 76s or QJo as a tight player? Yeah, they can have sets, but even if you say yes, they have have JT, they can also have KQ, AK, and several other hands where they are drawing, or we are ahead of

We also want them to call with AK/AQ. Obviously, turn card is bad for that image, but we also can have most of the sets, except maybe 99/88.

You aren't just trying to avoid value owning yourself. You also need to protect against V's hands you are ahead of. Clearly, V was scared of the ace.

That's true. I think when we are super face up though come river. We are either on a weak mid pair, or a broken draw based on our turn/river checks. V betting big into us when we have shown no actual strength.
