Friend and I disagreed on this hand

Live 2/5

Fish limps UTG, I make it 25 to go in MP with AQ off, next guy in calls, btn calls and the limper calls. Everyone is deep including me and stacks wont matter much as youll see.

Flop is 933hh. Check, I check (dont have much fold equity in general at this table), next guy checks, btn bets 40, fold, I call and next guy folds.

My read on button was that he was older guy who looked like he had money and likes to play for fun and tries to play good. Saw him play QQ really really badly a few hands ago. Flopped an overpair in a 5 way pot and played it like he had a set. Limited sample but he seems to overvalue hands. I saw him bluff too, so I know hes at least capable of it.

So pot is 180. He has has about 500 left and I cover.

Turn is 5h. I check and he instantly bets 75.

Im thinking he probably would check back a 9 here for pot control and doubt that hed even bet a flush draw on the flop. So I call (I dont have a heart).

River is another 9. So board is 93359 with three hearts. I check, he thinks for a little bit and bets 225 (pot is 330.)

So far the feedback Ive gotten is river is an easy call and an easy fold.

Thoughts on all streets?

I think it's a very read dependent hand, lol. Is he the type to bluff out of frustration (is he irratable?)? Is he the type to value bet thin (probably not)?

Pot bet is suspiciously large. A value bet would be much smaller, so it looks like a bluff to me, so I call. Doesn't add up to a nine. Bet size is weird.

LLSNL Vs are huge non-believers on paired boards (including you, imo, as this likely a fold on the flop and definitely one OTT). V most likely has a 9 or a pair 44-88 and just "doesn't believe you have a 9" and was overvaluing it all along. Never calling here, as you're calling to chop at best, imo. Might consider raising against the right V, but I don't think this is the one.

Perfect size for this type of V with a weak 9 that was non-believing but worried before, and now that his kicker doesn't matter he bets big. Not sayig he has a 9 for sure, but beware of mirror-imaging.

Fold flop, you are kidding yourself if you think calling down ax on this texture in a 4way pot is a good idea. Even if he semi-bluffs his heart draw.

Umm. Hero did check flop. Monikrazy is referring to folding when it comes back to hero after V bets.

Could be a nine. Could be TT-. On second thought, I fold after reading comments. I don't think it's a bluff more than 20% of the time. I think 20% is already on the high side of random bluffs.

Also ya I think fold when it comes back to you otf. You don't beat anything except air. Even a semi bluff has equity. If you just station w A high you are kind'a making yourself an easy target.

Sorry for confusion.
