Hero and villain play a fair amount together. Hero has been down over a buy-in for most of the session and villain has been running hot.

Villain is weak tight with occasional flashes of looseness. He can be a bit of a calling station. Hero has a TAG image, but has also been caught in a couple bluffs.

Hero $400, OTB
Villain $600, BB
$2/$5

Hero has 3s4s

Hero raises $11, Villain Calls

Flop is Js7s2s

Villain bets $22, Hero raises $60, Villain raises $134, Hero calls

Turn is Jh

Villain checks, Hero goes all-in

How's my line?

What hands do you put him on when he raises the flop? If it's AJ or an overpair (unlikely), it's fine. If he's a calling station, he might call trip Js with your image, which is good.

Just depends on the range you give him, but I don't think he's folding Q-high+ flush and he's never folding a full house. If he's a calling station, he might call with any flush -- especially with your image.

I felt pretty strongly that he had something like AsJx. Didn't think he had an over pair. Do you see a different line on the flop or turn?

I see another option pre-flop

The only other option on flop is to just gii if you think you are ahead -- don't give him a free card. As played, turn is fine. I hate just checking behind if I think I'm ahead -- unless you think he will fold now but bluff a non-spade (non-board pairing) river. I don't think you have enough left for that, though. All-in on turn is good.

I don't think he calls any worse hand after the board pairs.

It might be a good bluff.

i think he still calls with Jx and 88s-QQs (i include qq since he can be a bit of a calling station n we are seen as bluffy)

i think pile it in on flop is a better line, AP its whatever shoving as u did with this spr, and checking back are both as good imo

If you're looking for a 60-40 edge then shoving is good.
If you were looking for villain to call off with worse than those odds then shoving is bad.
Shoving here to induce a fold makes no sense.

Folded to H in button, and H makes it $11 in a $2/5 game? With 43s?
I don't like this play at all. Not suggesting you bloat this pot with such a weak holding but if you are going to play it, I'd put in a more standard raise because this hand won't hit a lot of flops. You'd be fine with taking down the blinds here.
Also, image of TAG doesn't align with 'been caught in a couple of bluffs' and opening with 43s. I'd guess table might view you more as LAG given that you've been caught bluffing a few times.
If you think your hand is good on the flop, then shove flop. I don't love calling here bc any board pair or spade kills this hand for us.
As played, you might get V to fold a flush by jamming turn, and you might get called by a hand like JxXs, but this isn't a great spot we've put ourselves in.
Bigger preflop, take down the blinds. All in or fold on the flop after V 3!
