2/5 How to play AA vs flop raise? 2/5 How to play AA vs flop raise?

Playing 2/5 (10% rake, max $15), I've been playing a TAG style for the last couple of hours and pick up 99 in the cutoff. MP opens for $15 and I call. It folds around to a LAG middle-aged Chinese guy in the SB who makes it $75. MP calls and I call as well. Flop comes T 9 2 giving me middle set. SB bets $125 into the pot of about $212. MP folds. I raise to $350. I have $375 left in my stack and SB has me covered. Obviously he has to think I either am well ahead with T9 or a set, or have a decent draw. What's his best play with AA here? Should he call, wait to see if draws miss on the turn and then shove? Or fold or shove against my flop raise?

Since he is up against a set and doesn't have odds to hit his 2 outter I think his best course of action is to fold.

Wow max $15 rake? NYC? I like a flat OTF. We’re IP and HU here against a Chinese LAG. At this stack depth you’ll be able to get the money in on most run outs vs. this guy.

Even if a spade rolls off, he may keep firing and it shouldn’t kill the action if he has a spade in his hand

Actually I wasn't quite sure whether he was a LAG or just a TAG who'd gotten a lot of good cards lately (Crown Melbourne btw). Re flatting the flop I was hoping to rep a draw by raising the flop since the board was so wet, and people tend to believe that flop raises look weaker than raises on the turn (or river for that matter.) Also a lot of scare cards can roll off on the turn that could kill the action. Re folding his Aces, should he maybe do that against a TAG and call against a LAG? Or just fold against anyone except an obvious lunatic?

I'd jam as SB. Might flat with the As, but jamming makes the hand easier to play with this SPR and Hero likely can't raise/fold leaving so little behind.

Not a good spot for SB to fold as Hero can have a bunch of draws and can occasionally have KK, QQ, JJ, AT for value vs this villain type.

are u asking what we should do as hero?

or are u asking what SB should do if he has AA vs this action?

very strange formatting in either case.

But what should SB do w AA vs this action? I think he should go all in. His hand is too strong to fold, and hes OOP and pot committed with a call, so calling seems bad. that leaves jamming as the only play.

And did we play 99 well? I dont think so. We pot committed ourselves with that raise, I like a more committal raise of all-in, or a less committal raise of min-click. Or a flat call. This raise size just seems weird and nutted to me.

He should fold more times than not, especially if he has the As. I'd likely 3b this hand pre vs. a small MP open. If AA views you as somewhat passive, clear laydown.
