This was my first time playing 2/5 and I just wanted to check and see if I botched the river here.

Not too many reads other than its late at night, V seems mid 30's and somewhat competent.

$35-$40 pre - $25 will very rarely iso

I would raise the flop to $75 and get value from Qx, wheel As, and potentially a pair between 55 and JJ

Turn I would just call as well

You didn't put effective stack sizes, but it's most likely a jam

Effective stacks were around $800 to start the hand.

Too small over three limps. Should be at least 30. I prefer 35.

Raise flop. This weak bet should be considered to be full of weaker value hands, and we are near the top of our range. I’d have made it like 90.

As played, we decided to slow play in order to keep him overvaluing a hand like Q8 or something. So keep going. Also he did bet fairly big, it’s not like he put in a weak sizing.

Definitely betting on river. Probably chunky too. Maybe even overbet. Seems like he’s going to have quite a few weird hands here and we might as well go for the gusto against the portion of his range that he will call with.

+1 to higher pre and flop raise.

River - I'd go just under $200.
Not sure what bluffs we have on this texture, perhaps JTs, so our value range is pretty nutted after calling 70% PSB on the turn.

That is kind of what I was thinking. I ended up betting $250 (leaving about $300 behind).

His line is a little confusing though. He donks twice into the preflop raiser and then checks the river. After he bets the turn I'm pretty sure he is betting for value. I've seen people donk flops to try and get a cheap turn card and make a draw but I doubt he would fire twice on a gutshot.

If he is value betting the turn what hands check back on this river? QTs and QJs are the only ones that come to mind unless he flopped a set and somehow now thinks I could bluff this river.

Why does it matter if we have bluffs?

Pot river imo, he will likely call with all Q and might hero TT and JJ, maybe even 55-88

If we had more, he's more apt to call down lighter, allowing us to size up.

Yeah, but that doesn't matter in LLSNL
