Tampa Hard Rock, 8 handed. Bad player button straddles to $10, I raise from BB to $40 with TJ. Solid, thinking player calls from MP, button calls. $800 effective.

Flop TJ5 ($116)

I bet $90, MP calls, button folds. Turn: A ($296)

Thoughts on play from here? (Btw, my image to this guy is pretty tight. I'm sure his range for me in this spot is KJ, AJ, KQ, maybe AQ, AK, and TT to AA. Just not the TJ I actually have.)

Ewwww, kinda gross spot for sure. KQ got there, AJ/AT caught up. All we beat is a flush and combo draws like Ax. Bet/fold $150 and not really liking it. Only reason I b/f is because the board is as scary to V as it is to us and that turn is 100% in our range.

Don't raise pre OOP. I'd bet fold $150 too. You block AJ, AT. Check calling is bad. Check folding isn't that bad but you beat Axss, AQ, AK

Unless we believe the opponent is passive post-flop, I think B/F is the best option. The descript is "solid, thinking", so he may try to take it away with a turn bet if we check. I'd lead for $135.

I don't mind the PFR, really dependent on table dynamics. The BB spot is obviously a disadvantage.
