Play 1/2 primarily. Shot taking at 2/5 at Horseshoe Hammond. I got in two spots tonight where I know I misplayed the hand but don't know how to remedy it with my image
UTG+1 (tight solid, mid twenties guy, stack: $650)
CO (quiet maniac, has rebought bunch of times but will flat with any two, stack: $450
Hero, Button (tight/nitty, stack $600)
UTG+1 raises to 25
CO calls
Hero looks down at 8
8
calls
Flop:
J
8
10
UTG+1 bets 40
CO raises to 105
Hero calls.
I know I made a mistake but what do I make it here?
UTG+1 thinks for about 2 minutes looks at me a lot, shows the guy next to him is his hand and folds.
Turn:
6
CO checks
Hero bets 300
CO folds.
Do I raise it immediately on the flop? UTG+1 said he folded Aces and was confirmed by guy he showed his hand to. Said he was worried of me flatting. Similar situation happened in hand I'll be posting later.
I wasn't nervous playing but I know I overbet in some spots when i was incredibly strong.
