2. flop - folding is fine but RR? why would you FOLD or RR? pretend you have KK? with so much implied odds if you hit what's the purpose of RR with absolutely no information? WTF?
3. CHECK? - now you floated and IN POSITION, you CHECK BEHIND picking up 9 more outs!? WTF? and you plan to fold every time he fires the river then you just called 10% of your stack on a 4 outer?
your line is fine, but i wouldn't suggest floating there too often as the board is semi coordinated and initial raiser could call you down with TT/AJ/QJ/QQ
i'd bet the turn there ~95% of the time IF i planned on floating, or else when were you going to bet? or were you just hoping to hit?
i'd bet prob ~$85 depending on how nitty villain is. if called i'd shut down. if i hit any of my 12 outs (4Qs + 8 hearts, discounting 3As) i'm shipping
+10
Also, if you're going to float with that ****, what other card besides the Q could you be looking for?
POUND POUND POUND that turn.
He's a tag with a deceptively wide range (from your description), he views you as tight, possibly rocky. Get that fold equity and bet the turn. 2/3 pot minimum. Mild Overbet is sexy here as well.
If he raises, you can call with plenty of outs, most of which are to the nuts, and you will be pot committed with the right equity b/c of your big draw. But again, a big bet, from your image, can be very hard to call with just 1 pair. Especially by a solid player. So my view, given your description of the players, is that you need to be really pounding that hand, and picking up mucho fold equity on the turn
And if the s--- hit the fan, and he has a set (the only easy call to you, here), your hand is still very live.
