H-25 year old Indian guy , Haven’t played a crazy amount of hands but I am
Active. I have the table covered and having a losing image probably. I lost a 1700$ pot earlier where this Asian lady kept shipping on me when I would bet . She would go all in for 700 in a 150$ pot . So I got AA one time and she did the same thing and I snapped her off and she had J9hh for a river flush and I had Ah lol.

V- 55 years old white guy listening to headphones was getting a massage earlier.he has 750-800ish he hasn’t done anything out of line except for one river bluff Where the board was A9387 and he bet 175 into 220ish and got called and said your good to the other guy. I didn’t see how the flop and turn played out

H-BTN
V-SB
800+effective stacks

3 limps to hero I make it 35 with two black KK V thinks for a sec like he wants to reraise but than just calls and 1 limper calls

Flop is J25 pot-105 after rake
Checks to me I bet 40. SB raises to 80 and limper folds , gets back to me and I call. I think he raising a lot of his pairs under a jack ,AJ,QJ,55 JJ 22.
So I call.

Turn J pot-265
He leads for 130 I think for like 20 seconds and call again.

River 2 pot-525
V says send me home and ships a little over pot hero????? I think the total was 545 I’m getting about 2:1

Decent sizing pre. I might go slightly larger, but that's a minor gripe.

Flop bet is kind of small. I understand it on a super dry board, but alot of Jx/MPP that easily call 1/2-2/3 PSB. Calling the raise is super standard, & is heavy w/ Jx & a handful of 55/22.

After the turn, you beat practically nothing. You're basically praying they're going nuts w/ 43s/A4s/A3s. Fold turn. Fold river AP.

I don’t think you can fold turn especially not for a half pot bet you still beat too many hands he will have. The river is where I’m unsure about

The "send me home" speech. Fold unless have some kind of read. The J turn is awful after we got the min-raise ("see where I'm at) on the flop.

Trip Jacks or a set every time, most likely a set. Fold river, would have considered folding turn. "I'm bored" or "I'm ready to go home" are 2 phrases I've never heard uttered from an opponent without a nutted hand.

THE only sets by the river are 55 and do you think he will ship river with 55s full I think he’s going for a check call or bet / river. I think the river is weighted more towards jacks full or something he’s turning into a bluff. This is a not a pro I’m playing against who will thin value that . I could be wrong but that was my asssumption of him

I just think a set is more likely to c/r flop vs a lone jack. Same difference, we lose to both.

Fairly confident 5's full is shoving this river. It's not thin at all for what it's worth, 55 is a slam dunk shove on this board.

Edit, I'm a moron, didn't notice the double pair.

What hands do you beat OTT?

Took the words out of my month. The speech as he jams river on a double paired board that had almost no draws that could miss is a huge tell to me.

Really though, the way the whole hand has played tells me we're beat, especially when the board pairs the J OTT. Honestly I'd probably make a somewhat exploitable fold OTT. We beat QQ, that's about it. I'd just sigh fold and move on to the next hand.

It’s really just under pairs to the board on the turn , that gain more confidence once the jack comes on the turn, fwiw I just figured his shove was either some bull**** or J, so I talked myself into a call on river which I don’t really like because of the sizing and I’m usually toast here but he had QQ and I scooped it

That’s really strange. I think he was trying to find out where he was at OTF with the typical minraise and would have folded if you 3b. Once you call, both of you should really slowdown on the J turn, but looks like both of you didn’t give a F and decided to go nuts, lol.

I think he was turning his hand into a bluff cause he really looked like he wanted to 3b pre. I remember just thinking **** I’m going to run into aces again ( it happened my last 2 sessions prior). But than he flatted, I was so active I’m really surprised he didn’t 3b especially with me raising the Btn.
