If you were above recreational, you would understand that.
LOL.....that's all I can say about that. You're never going to learn. No matter how many times I post advice and Im right (which is most of the time), you will always say Im being results oriented when you dont like my advice. You only know how to play against a guys entire possible range and not the hand that he most likely has. My actual money in my pocket "results" are oriented around being right more often than not.

You're likely running way over in the advice results column - especially if you're ck-r this turn.

Here, even if you were somehow able to reliably weight V on Kx/JT, why are you ck-r?

because he doesnt want to play poker, he wants to spew and outplay people who are not thinking anywhere close to the relevant level

I never said check raising was the best play. Someone said raising could be fun but its costly and they didnt see the point in doing it. I just pointed out the what the benefits of a check raise are. Its really not costly if you are calling the river anyway.

If you check raise, you fold out almost all Kings, including the ones you were ahead of (unless he limped AK) and and you get value from JT. You lose the same amount to a Q because you can check/fold to a river bet which is almost never coming from anything but a Q. If the guy has the balls to bet JT when checked to on the river (very few people do) then a turn check raise is really bad. The check raise also avoids folding the best hand on the river which several people in this thread wanted to do.

If he calls with a K which is really unlikely, youre going to chop somewhere around 1/3 of the time.

Im sure someone can figure the EV of all of that if they want to. I just know that its a good play to put in your arsenal from time to time.

flop/turn easy call, turn especially cause of the price

i'd fold river

u can have Qx here pretty easily so it seems pretty spewy if hes 3-barreling worse into u in a limped pot, only real bluff he can have is like JT, and probably mainly JTo, and that probably just gives up more often than not, he can have a lot of qx though and I think given turn sizing if he has Kx it's usually going to be that he bet small OTT so that he can check back the river.

lol @ results tho
