Lady has been tightish.. Saw her bet/fold many times before.. Hero hasn't played any hand vs her so far and maybe 1 or 2 vs others that never went beyond flop

Hero: $350 BTN

UTG ($150) raises $10, Hero calls OTB with 44, V ($260) calls in BB

Flop ($30): 764r
V bets $15, UTG folds, Hero raises to $50, V calls

Turn ($130): 8ss
V bets $50, Hero ?

Is this really 2/5? I'm personally folding 44 here on the button this shallow vs UTG min-raise.

Turn sucks. I'd call and fold to a river bet. Hope river bricks and she shows up with 99/2pair.

Charitably deep enough to call pre. I'd probably call the flop because hero can easily get stacks in by the river. We don't want to blow off a villain who can bet-fold. A donk bet isn't super strong, even from a tight player. It's likely an overpair. I doubt she donks as semi-bluff with 5x, or with sets/straights.

The turn card is ok. There are are still plenty of overpairs in villain's range. The board is now too draw heavy to call and evaluate the river. I'd shove here. If villain calls with a miracle straight, you still have 10 outs to save you. I discount 77/66 because villains rarely donk with such a strong hand. 88 is a cooler.

This.

I would add....Is V being a female factoring into any of this? Because it seems like it is.

Preflop action was so small that BB could be on a very broad range.

Her OTF donk/call would seem to leave her with OPs (88 - JJ) and straight draws or combo draws... so lots of 89's, 97, 87, 65 etc.... I'd expect 2p+ to re-raise.

OTT I'd be narrowing range to hands that improved with the 8. (which is most of them).

Still too many hands that you are still ahead of for us to fold. I like a smooth call and see what she does on the river. If we don't improve - I'm still calling up to half pot.

Hero is never good here against described V, but V's turn bet is small enough we may have just enough implied odds to call.

I'd probably call turn, fold to any river bet that doesn't pair the board.
