2/5

V1: Loose Passive fish that will stack off with MP+, chase bad draws. Disregards pot odds.
V2: Loose Passive fish. Call 3 bets light PF and call down bad draws/MP+. Takes pot odds into account when facing Hero or Nit.
V3: 80 year old nit

V1 and V2 are both tilting and in for about 2500 each.

V1: 800
V2: 1200
V3: 900
Hero: 1000

V1 limp MP, V2 limp HJ, Hero limps KcTs, V3 raises to 25, blinds fold, V1 and V2 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: QdJhTh

What is the image of Hero?? This is important....

I can already comment on the limping KTo...this is bad....and the error is compounded when you call a raise.

It checked to you? Check. You have a pair of tens and have a draw to dirty nuts in a bloated pot vs. players that won't fold.

What position are you and V3 in? This matters a lot too.
I'll assume you're in the CO and V3 is on the button. Usually this is a fold or a raise PF, but with 2 very bad and tilting players limping in front of you I don't completely hate the limp from late position due to, hopefully, insane implied odds. This is an uncommon situation and don't make a habit of this.

Now that I look at where you cut off your post it seems you stopped the action with the first person to act OTF, so I guess that's you in the SB with nitty V3 in the BB. So don't call the PF raise. That was a big mistake. Now C/F unless you're getting like 10-1 pot odds.

Against these two villains I'm raising this hand pre to take the initiative.

Given that V3 is a nit you are behind his range, but given V1 and V2s calls and more specifically the effective stacks, it's a call

Is HERO the BTN? C/C oop?

Sorry, a lot of typos from my cellphone.

Flop is QdJh9h

Hero's image is TAG. Have only shown TPTK+ and a lot of hands that didn't get to showdown.

With two tilting stationary fish limping in front of you, I actually prefer limping. You have no FE and want to keep implied odds as big as possible with a hand that is more draw then value. You just have to have the discipline to lay down the flop a lot. When the nit raises it becomes very marginal. Your almost always behind and could be dominated by the nit, but when the two stations flat call your getting decent odds and everybody is deep enough that I would see this flop most of the time.

The QJT flop you listed at the top is the sort of marginal hand where your probably behind and may already be drawing to a chop. You can venture a call if there is a small bet and no other callers but any substantial action you need to get out of the way. The second board QJ9, where you did flop the nuts on a wet board that probably hit somebody, you should be hammering flop. This sort of flop is exactly why you can be in this hand. I'm going $75 if it is check/check in front of hero, unless V3 is obviously read to c-bet. If he clearly is going to c-bet then I would go for a check/raise here some of the time.

Your play of l/c a raise is actually loose passive. I say fold pre...hands like this generally just get us in trouble when playing multi-way.

As played, check and hope to hit your straight. Keep pot small until it hits.

Never donking here. If you donk and nit raises v1 and 2 fold a ton.

If any of the fish lead I probably raise unless old nit is a tell box.
