Bellagio 500 eff- both villians recreational tourists, limited history but both playing a few hands and nothing too crazy

V1 limps EP, I over limp j10 off mp, v2 limps hj... Sb call, bb ck

Flop 899(25)

Cks to v1 who bets 20 i call v2 calls quickly in hj, sb and bb fold

Turn 7 (85)

V1 ck I bet 45 (this is too small in retrospect right?)

V2 calls, v1 calls

River 6 (rainbow board) pot 225

V1 cks I bet 85... V2 thinks for a second and makes it 185... V1 tank calls

We? My sizing sucks on turn and river IMO- I am getting sick price on call but somebody should be boated here a decent amount

Your bet sizing is a little small. I do like to pot control with straight on paired board. I do think you can go for a bit more value especially with 4 to the straight on the river. you will almost always get called by a ten. River is always a call, you are getting almost 5 to 1. They will show up with worse enough.

I'd bet more ott like you mentioned. River seems like a standard call. Your getting a real nice price here and honestly I think you see T8-T7-T9, J9, Q9, A9 more than you see 97/77.

On such a coordinated board V2 should be raising his FH's ott almost always. I would weight him toward a T. really the lack of action by both villains doesn't seem consistent with a FH to me at all. I think I would call pretty quick.

Assuming V2 raises $185 and the other guy folds, we can't fold here imo getting almost 5-1 given the fact that 2nd best hands can raise here (hands like T9,T8,T7, etc).

I also wouldn't fold with the other guy calling. I mean I don't like this situation at all, but we're getting great calling odds and the passive play by both villains on the turn makes a river boat less likely than normal (altho obv still a scary possibility).

The fact that the river card fills in a logical 2nd best hand + we're getting 6.8-1 + the nobody raised the turn making a river boat a little less likely = I'm gritting my teeth and calling the river.
