Villain usually plays 5/10 which I play sometimes but that table is full and we are both on the waiting list.

Haven't played with him a whole lot but would call him a classic tag with solid grasp of bet sizing and positional play. Very quiet guy too.

Hero has 9T opens to 25 on a loose table with 2K behind covering villain who has about 1300ish

one call from the SB, villain raises the BB to 125, hero flats, SB folds

K78

Villain bets 100, hero snap calls

turn 9

V 375, has about 800ish behind

I would assume you have 13 outs, very little FE and not much in terms of IO. You’re getting less than that in direct pot odds so I probably nit fold.

You didn’t post your own position, but I’m probably shoving regardless. Of course we have FE and tons of outs to back us up and if we’re not shoving this we probably just don’t have a bluff range. This turn is good for our range.

AI.

Vs classic TAG calling here is probably losing but it's not like you'd ever fold so w.e.

This card is quite bad for his range so he's supposed to be checking his whole range or most of his range here ott, but dont think most regs know that. He could be betting AK/AA here

Looks like hes trying to take you to value town ,,, and is ready to call it off , he's basically saying he's ready to call all in by even attempting to barrel this turn card , I guess player dependant but I likely nit fold

I knew this one was close between an eye-sticking and a fold and never a call. FWIW a lot of the winning regs at my games use this weird small sizing on the flop to big on the turn and it's too hard to get to showdown to see what it means but a lot of times I end up shrug calling the flop and shrug folding the turn, like I can peel here on the flop with a gutterball so some of his range draws dead. Also I have no idea if this is a one and done bet for his last chance to win the pot or he is going for fat value and pricing in his call when i shove, but these guys don't seem to care at all if you call the turn, they are going for lowest variance a lot of the time because, well, they are pros

Just seems weird that he uses a flop bet size that is indifferent to calls and a turn sizing where I can only really call if I beat AK
