V: Long-time reg, has lots of history against Hero. Capable of tricky lines, big bluffs. Likes to 4b me light w/broadways, random crap. Perceives me as winning TAG but with tendency to spaz esp against V. $700.

Earlier Hero made it $65 w/AA over $15 open and two callers, V 4b Hero w/QQ to $400 when $500 eff. V was rather tilted.

Couple weeks ago, V overlimps $10 straddle in EP, whole table limps, I make it $105 w/AJhh in SB, folds to V who makes it $400, I tank ship for $700 total and he sigh calls. I river nut flush and he mucks.

H: Asian TAG reg, been playing solid this session. Covers.

Pre: A limper in EP, I make it $30 in MP w/AcKs for the 3rd time in as many hands, folds to V who makes it $110, I tank call.

Normally, I would 4b here, but pretty sure he's noticed me opening a lot and is a lot lighter than normal. If I do 4b, I don't think he ever bluff 5b or calls off light. If I miss, I'm likely peeling/bluff raising a lot of flops. If I hit, I think I can often get at least one street of value from his bluffs. Thoughts?

Flop ($230): K72cc.

I check, he cbets $105, I call.

His cbetting range is prob like FD's, Kx/7x/2x, AA/AK/QQ/JJ. Is there any merit to raising/leading?

Turn ($440): Tx.

Check, V quickly checks back.

I think leading here is probably optimal given he's checking behind a lot of his air/draws. Don't think V will be double barreling a lot given I've called flop. When he checks, it seems like he's given up.

River ($440): 5x.

I check, he quickly ships for $470, H?

Not exactly sure what he's supposed to have here for value except random 2p. Missed clubs/QJ are possible bluffs, and I don't think he ever expects me to have AK here, more like QQ/JJ. Don't think V is good enough to have AA in this spot, and it's only 3 combos anyway.

Not a fan of the way this hand was played at all. I'm obviously calling the river shove but it should never have gotten to the point of having to check/call a PSB on the river. Calling AKo OOP is probably the biggest mistake. If you know he 3!'s you light (any two Broadway) this is a slam dunk 4! Calling it off if he 5!'s as well. Playing fit or fold in 3! pots OOP is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.

I would just bet half pot on turn and shove river personally.

AK OOP just has to be 4b with the levels between you maniacs. AP Im pretty comfy gii via ck-r otf as more of a protection bet of sorts, particularly if you didn't have the Kc. When you ck-c, you're letting him realize equity with his entire range at his leisure and you're left in a bit of a quandary otr... Youre a bit too underrepped to ck-f, but your equity ck-calling riv is significantly more ominous than just about any other line you could have chosen.

Reading your commentary - I have a sense that you think deeply about spots. Obv thats good - unless you overthink.

Pre. I prefer the 4b. You've set this up perfectly with the 3 prior 2bets. You just dream of having AK in this situation. If he folds - fine. If he 5 bets - I like your chances.

OTF - I raise here for sure. You've put a bunch of FDs in his range. Why let him draw to them. Nothing wrong with taking this down now. Or have him call you behind. He won't credit you with AK on the smooth call pre.

OTT - Given the passive line you've taken - i guess a lead check makes sense. Were you planning on a C/R?

OTR - Wow.... no idea. kick yourself if its 55 (or K5). But i don't know what to do now. The story he's selling is so bizarre that you almost have to believe it.
