2/5, 7 handed, $700 effective with SB, $500 effective with HJ. HJ is a huge loose passive fish, SB literally just sat down and is buying the BTN this hand.

OTTH

HJ open limps, hero raises $30 OTB A K, SB calls, HJ calls.

Flop ($95): K 5 2. X-x-hero bets $30-SB raises $100-HJ calls-hero calls.

Turn ($395): 3. SB bets $200-HJ calls. Hero?

Wow. Tough spot against an unknown. I'm assuming that you haven't played with him before.

You have $65 in. I prolly find a fold, but I'm kind of a nit. I'm sure others will disagree.

How old, what race, how is he dressed, how are his chips stacked?

Can he come in for free behind and was he told that? If he still insisted on paying the $7 I would be more apt to call down, assuming HJ misses his very likely draw

When SB is willing to continue betting with 2 opponents I find a tight fold against an unknown. It's not happy but HJ is likely on a draw and that reduces the chance SB is drawing.

It's one of those situations where this could be anything from an easy fold to an easy call with more information on SB. With no information I'm not paying that much when SB is showing such strength.

As others mentioned theres a lot of external factors which can influence your decision here.

Vs anyone who looks remotely normal and bought in for a full stack I'd be folding vs SB.

However if it's a dude who sits down with baccarat chips and a beer I'm never gonna be folding turn.

Also if SB knows HJ to be a bit of a whale then they may be going thin for value with KQ/KJ, assuming your small bet means you are weaker.

For what it's worth, if the HJ is call happy I don't really like going small on the flop. I'd prefer a 65-70 bet as HJ will make calling mistakes with draws, and you gonna struggle to stacks in without overbets if you go 30 on the flop.

To answer some questions from previous posts:

I haven't played with villain, but he's 50-60, I think white but it's hard to tell without hearing him talk and with a mask on, dressed casually, chips are stacked as they were in rack

As far as buying the button - players are always asked the same question "do you want to buy the button or wait one?"

Meh. Fold.
Sizing looks somewhat value esq and setting up for a nice half pot shove on the river.
