Even though you probably almost never have Tx after raising pre and check-calling flop then checking turn, these guys are going to be scared of you having one if they don't.

This is a pattern that i see over and over again,no matter where i play. Most people are scared money/underrolled/few buyins from busto= they just arent looking to stackoff without a very strong hand. And vast majority have huge betsizingtells. When they bet big aka a relative big bet to the stakes youre playing, or fires close to potsized bets/giving signs that they want to stackoff they just have what you suspect they have: nutted hands.

Players that are capable of bluffraising with draws and/or run a multistreet bluff with a draw is easy to spot due to the overall aggrofactor in their game. They have like a big neon sign over their head if you pay attention.

And while we are at why is everyone so afraid of playing big pocket pairs with more than one opponent?

Here's a fun thread about that. See post #47 for results. 5 years later, I'm pretty happy with the way I played this hand though everybody called me an idiot.

Fwiw, since I posted this thread, in 3bet aggro games, I have a somewhat balanced 3x/4bet range UTG and UTG+1 (meaning I'll still occasionally do this with AA, suited wheel aces, and sometimes SCs... But only if there are lots of 3bets, and still not always).

You shouldve bet flop. As played youre totally blind by that terrible check/call on a wet flop. Maybe he has a draw, maybe he has the T, maybe he has a J, i guess you gotta fold turn now.

Re: 2/5 AA on Paired Board

really looks like something like KQ. That is a really odd move to flop trips at a new table and not try to slow play it.

as played, just call him down.

If I bet flop and get raised, what do I do? There is no good answer to this question, which is why checking flop makes sense.
