2/5 effective 600.
The game has been pretty active. There is a whale in the BB who is controlling the dynamic.
Hero (600) has a very tight image.
CO. (700) has been playing tight not involved in many hands.
But (1K) reg who has been playing moderately LAG but still kinda tight.
Bb (700) whale. He has been involved in ~50% of hands. He overbluffs at weakness, and pays off too light.

Hero UTG with AAopens to 20. CO calls. BUT calls. BB calls.
4 ways
(82) Flop J74r
X hero bets 55. CO calls. But folds. BB calls.
(247) Turn 3r
X hero bets 125. CO quick shoves 475. Bb folds.
Hero folds.
I kinda hate this spot because I don’t think CO has any natural bluffs, so I was thinking his range here is all value, none of which I beat. But I know it’s a dangerous game to assume people are never bluffing you...
we’re getting 350:850 on a call so we can certainly walk away...
Also I only thought of it later but maybe c/r jam the turn is a better line than the double barrel.
Thoughts?

Aggravating spot, but I'd play it the same way. It feels like V has 65 or a set the vast majority of the time. I guess if he's capable of severely over playing AJ then nice bet, but on such a dry board with the action being what it is, I wouldn't think 1 pair would be good here. Maybe some will deem b/f is too nitty in this spot, but I wouldn't call it off here, especially with V shoving into 2 players when your hand looks like an overpair.

Based on your image and CO description you can probably let this go. You’ve shown a lot of strength double barreling into 3 and then two people. It depends how confident you are in your read of CO.

Definitely not a fan of check jamming turn. One opponent is passive, the other is a whale, and we have a big time value hand, let’s build a pot and not let it check through.

Also, it is true that betting for information is bad against tough opponents because a good opponent won’t tell us where we are at by the mere fact that he calls or raises. However, against passive opponents, we can often exploitatively fold after betting and check/jam denies us that option.

With whale in BB raise bigger pre $30-35 I'm sure he is defending the bb waaaaaaaay wide and we would obv love this situation heads up in position vs a whale.

as played I think you played flop and turn well. Maybe size up a bit on flop but def not a mistake..... CO never has worse imo and if he has half a pulse he should be flatting sets otf to keep the whale in the pot.

I don't see any bluffs CO can have on that turn with a rainbow flop and no obvious straight draws other than a couple gutters. There are some boards where you will have to get sticky with Aces but I don't think this is one of them.

If I was playing well I'd lay this down to the all in bet.

Given the dry board and that we have CO in the hand I'd probably be going for just 2 streets of value. I'd consider c/c turn and if it does check thru I wouldn't be too concerned as there will not be many scare cards on river.
