Hero ($500): Hero has a TAG image at a table full of recs it seems.

3 limpers, Hero completes 67hh in SB, BB checks

Flop ($25): 6s7s8d
Hero checks, BB checks, MP bets $15, BTN calls, Hero calls, BB calls

Turn ($85): Ac
Hero checks, BB checks, MP checks, BTN bets $20, Hero ???

BTN is shallow ($250ish), she is kind of a sticky player plus the ace is a scary card, Hero is not aware of her betting patterns either. The other two haven't shown strength on the turn.

Hero wanted to get to showdown for cheap because of such a bad flop. Was Hero better off leading out every non-scary street instead?

Pot flop, we're getting called by so much on this board and the flop checking through here would be a disaster.

As played, c/f turn to a reasonable bet, rec. players don't bet this turn unless they have at least Ax, and unless BTN has A9/AT, we're drawing to 2-4 outs against her since she will have a better 2P very often here. However given how small the bet is, I'm calling here, and c/f to a reasonable river bet (or even an unreasonably small bet if the river is something like the Ts).

After betting pot on flop, what's your plan ott/otr?

It is kind of gross. If we pot flop and get called in two spots I think we have to bet call the turn against the button based on how shallow he is.

As played I probably call the turn and I am folding to most river bets. I don't think people bluff the river, while I do think that people will semi bluff the turn.

I dont mind checking this Flop as we could get blown off our hand by a number of draws here if they get frisky. Not really a big fan of bottom 2 on a flush and straight board.

I am leading a blank Turn regardless but the Ace is the perfect card to lead out with on the Turn. Yes, we can still get blown off our hand but IMO the Ace really doesn't change too much and we can get a call from any Ax that might otherwise be concerned about the draws and let it check through.

Not so sure why we are putting B on 'exactly' 2 pair all of a sudden and a nice bet here on the Turn will get the rest of her stack in on the River.

$20 bet!! So weak, maybe weak to induce, but I am going for it. Especially with her 'short' stack. Bump it up to $110 to commit her stack. If not multi-way I might only go with $90 here, but I want any draws to pay a little premium as well as going after her stack.

If you are afraid of an ace here, what would you have done with an A67 Flop that she bet into? You cant put your chips in, even the SB, with cards like this if an Ace is going to concern you. Its just so rare that you will Flop something better than this. GL

I would have led the flop, but as played, I just call the turn. We're not heads up here. There's two other Vs left to act. Bottom two is likely the best hand, but a lot of times it's not.

Some players love to slowplay. Good players wouldn't slowplay a set or straight on this flop, but a lot of players will. Combine the chances of aces up with big flops slowplaying and have two players left to act, I'm not trying to play for stacks here. If button is only betting $20, I doubt she's ready to stick in the rest of her stack with A3s.
