table is a mix of loose passive and tighter more agressive players. most flops are multiway.
hero has been sitting for few hours and is up to 1100 from buy in of 500. stacked a player for 400 with KK>JJ, no major hands otherwise. hero is in co.
v is in bb with 550. doesn't play too many hands but is aggressive seen him crai semibluff twice once with an oesd on rainbow board and once with nfd+2overs.

in this hand
loose player in mp1 raises to 25
mp2 and hj call
hero calls in co with 6s6c
sb folds
bb(v) calls

flop(127)
3d 3h 5c
checks to hero.
hero(co) bets 80
bb shoves for 525 total
we need to put 445 to win 732 thus we need 37% equity.
seems like a clear fold (since v while aggressive hasnt bluffed with some equity)
should we have checked behind and waited the turn?the turn is most likely an over card that either hits someones hand or allows them to bluff.

What was the plan by calling pre flop. (Stick with it)
As played. Fold.

pre: getting great odds to set mine. 1:4 pot odds plus everyone has >500.
while we didnt hit our set with 4 checks we generally take it down unless someone is slowplaying a 55 or a 3. or decided to c/r 46. higher pairs 77-TT are possible but may fold. hero has a big stack which has some intimidation value.

I'd range him at mostly 77-JJ, with a possibility of A4, A2, a big ace (i.e. AQ or AJ), or A-3. The 77-JJ hands are most likely. Fold.

If you are going to bet the flop, make it 65.

Easy fold to the shove.

Agree with this - no need to bet as large as OP bet on the flop. Think about your purpose for betting and what villains will do with what ranges. Basically you want everyone to fold their overcards, which everyone has and which have plenty of equity. In this way the bet is actually more of a bluff than a value bet. Sizing it smaller will get that job done just as well.

You are always folding to a c/r, so fold.

No I think you played it perfectly. Well, you could have bet a little less on the flop as previously mentioned. I don't think you're being exploited, it's rare for villain to have a 3 here... he just happens to have it this time (most likely). You could easily have gotten value from 5x or straight draws.

If you're really curious about whether or not he's bluffing, just make sure you would make this same exact flop bet with a 3 or better. Then your range is balanced and if he does something similar in the future you can call him off w/ a much stronger hand.
