So this guy is a stone maniac, very bluffy, esp on river, but very stubborn. I am a limit Holdem player, who rarely plays nlhe cash.

His button straddle ($20), I open jd6d to $50, he calls, blinds fold. Eff stacks 3k.

Flop j75 two hearts, I bet 60, he raises to 130, I call.

Turn 6h -- he looks back at cards and then bets 200, my read is that he is weakish/didn't like turn. My first inclination is to call, but in game, I talk myself into audible, and raise to 600...I think I have best hand, but am obv vulnerable to nearly half deck, but also have a villain who loves to bluff river excessively...thoughts on all decision points appreciated.

Why open Jd6d when you know you're being called oop 100% of the time?

As played, flop is standard. After binking 2 pair, I like a bet/call line on all subsequent streets against a "stone maniac".

Fold pre.

I like your $600 raise but can you fold to a jam?
If your never folding then it's a great move .
If your plan is to bet fold then you can do so much cheaper like $370

We're 3k effective when you raise to $600 you have almost 1/3 of your stack in. Very much deep enough to bet fold.

I like raising to ~$375 and proceeding with precaution.

Wow that open is awful. Really, really awful. Not big enough to generate any fold equity, still three player behind to act. Really, really, really, really awful. Sorry! What were you thinking?

raise more pre (jk, fold pre.. though if you are going to raise, make it a raise that at least has a hope of taking down the pot uncontested)

the rest of the hand is fine, though im more inclined to lead the turn then cr it.

What to do at later points is highly dependent on the degree and type of villains manicaness. If hes really just pushing buttons here, then we might end up getting quite a bit of money in.

Teddy "The Ice Man" Monroe started a game at the Venetian room of teh pokerz. It is a 2/5 no limit Texas Style hold Them game with a mandatory button straddle The straddle must be between 10 and 100$. This game runs "occasionally"...literally 5 times this summer total

I'm folding jd6d 100% of the time out of position. 110% of the time with a maniac in front of me. This kind of hand can only get you in trouble. I mean, what's your plan for the hand pre and post flop? You got really lucky (or unlucky) to end up with 2 pair and you still may be behind.
