Hero (550): Young white kid. Just played a hand where I flopped two pair in a low SPR pot and raised a small donk bet to 150
V (580): Young Hispanic kid, older than me. Sat down an hour ago and calls super wide pre; looking to get away from his right. Haven't seen him bluff, but he did take a reverse float line against me.
Weak new player limps UTG; hero raises to 25 with 8
9
in the HJ; V calls CO; UTG calls.
Flop (75): 9
7
5
UTG checks; hero bets 40; V reluctantly calls after 20-30 seconds; UTG calls
This flop call raised a green flag for me on the turn. A loose player like V is instantly calling with a FD to my bet and it didn't seem like he was deciding between raising and calling.
Turn (195): 3
UTG checks; hero bets 115; V raises to 315 after some time leaving 200 behind; hero???
None of my options seem great to me so here's my breakdown:
Jam:
-SPR is low-ish
-Not a lot of info on V
-The flop tell could mean many things, but shouldn't mean a flush draw deciding to call or fold.
-If calling didn't pot-commit me I'm obviously calling a raise before giving up, so why not just jam here?
Call/eval:
-lol
Fold:
-I beat basically no flush combos, even though he could have a baby flush on most boards
-Beluga Whale
-Anyone with 2 brain cells can see that there are 3 spades on the board and I've just double-barreled
Thank
