2-4 200 max spread limit

Hero TAG 26 asian with $800 deep
Villian LAG 25ish white with $650 deep.

This villian is tricky, capable of floating streets, even oop, bluffing any scare card, raises 50%+ pf. In general very spewy player, but still capable of crazy moves. Villian also knows that hero is capable of 3betting light and making moves himself. In fact, a few days ago, hero had been 3betting villian quite wide ip, to punish his constant raising.

Villian Just 3bet hero preflop a few hands ago, which hero folded and villian showed 7-2off. Hero has been playing quite snug this session.

6handed, and a few hands later, hero gets QQ in the BTN
Everybody folds to hero, hero raises to $10 (my std btn raise)
Villian in sb 3bets to $25
Hero 4bets to $75
Villian quickly 5bets to $200.

This is the first time villian has ever put in a 5bet.
Hero decides that the best play here is to flat, as villian is unlikely to continue with a 6bet unless he has AA KK AK. Flatting also keeps bluffs in his range. Is this the right play, or should hero 6 bet to $400 (200 max) gii, since villian will be left with an spr of 1:1 if hero flats, and what if an A or K comes?

Anyways, hero flats the 5bet, villian has $450 back. The plan behind flatting is to allow villian to continue with all his bluffs. Hoping not to see an A or K on the flop.

Flop $400
Ad Td 7d hero has no diamonds
Villian quickly bets $200 max and has $250 back
Hero?

This is a sucky spot to be in, I would have either shoved pre or flatted the 3bet. Do you have the Qd? Either way, if he's a decent LAG he's leading here with a lot of hands, some might even be complete air, gutshots, middle pocket pair with a diamond. Sometimes it's a fold some times I shove, I think this spot might be a shove but you have a deeper hand history of him than I do.

it's SB vs BTN - standard spot to get 100BB in.

Not so sure about being deep - I prolly just flat the 3bet and fold flop - unless you have the Q of diamonds.

Hero does not have the Qd.

I considered just flatting the 3bet, but then my 4bet range is just AA KK and air. Against such a laggy villian i felt 4bet was best.

On the flop im deciding btwn shoving or folding.

I agree with that and I think it's closer to a shove than a fold. His range here is still pretty wide and this is the perfect scary board for him to continue on, even if you have an ace it's unlikely to be Ax with a diamond. I shove feeling like I'm ahead of his range with QQs on this flop.

if villain has $650 then it isn't $800 deep per the title

ship it pre

If villain can hand read at all he has to know you have a premium hand to call his large 5bet. At the same time he also has to realize you have a lot of JJ-KK that can't stand much heat. As played if you're going to flat pre with QQ here I think you have to stack off a lot of the time here. Sucks yes but if his range really is that wide you still have the best hand a lot

I think it would be best just to flat his 3bet pre. Keeps all his bluffs in and you can safely call down a lot of boards, even ace high ones.
