Hey fam, getting back into small stakes live, thought I'd get your take on this one

Game: 3/2 in Australia - Plays sorta a little tighter than spewey 1/2 gambool tables

Dealt to hero ($600) UTG AJ

hero raises to $10 (yeah this should be a little more but was table standard)

4 callers MP, MP. LP(wont get into the reads just yet)

Flop: KJT

hero bets $30, 1 caller

V ($400)is a fish, doesn't have a good understanding of pot size, been fairly active pf and makes c bets, mostly passive postflop. seen him making what I think are big folds and some loose calls. middle aged guy

Turn: A

Hero checks, V checks

River: 7

Hero Bets $40, V calls

Thoughts on bet turn, or check river

ps I haven't seen him bluff yet. but I think he is capable

been playing TAG table sees more of the T than the AG i think. Been winning for the last 2 hours. Only had to show down one hand so far and it was a set

Why not provide reads? What's the reasoning?

That's an awful flop for us, I easily x/f.

Turn and river are good, I like the river sizing.

OOP against 3 opponents flop should be a check/evaluate with an eye towards folding. Hero is often beat already and it isn't clear how many outs hero has.

Turn is fine. No reason to build a big pot with a 4 card straight on the board. When villain checks turn behind and river is a brick going for some value with a bet/fold is fine.

I'm just lazy and didn't think too much about flop.
V1 Donation Station, V2 okay fish likes to have a betting lead, V3 Tilting younger brown fellow he is okay fairly tight pf, V4 called us

yeah x/f flop makes most sense

I would just limp this in EP. All a raise does is bloat the pot multiway OOP where we make things very difficult for ourselves in TP type pots, imo. The only point in a preflop raise (imho) is to narrow the field, so if we're not going to accomplish that, I just don't see the point.

Well, there's a chance we have the best hand and everyone is on a draw, so we can just bet/fold for value. Course, also a chance we don't have the best hand and are drawing pretty slim and just putting in bad money after bad money OOP. I probably just check and see what happens but I also don't hate a bet/fold.

I might lean towards bet/folding the turn. If we check, he might bet anyways, so unless he bets really small we're not going to get the boatmining odds. There's a lotta worse hands that continue to payoff. He'll probably let us know we're beat now with Qx thanks to the drawy board.

River really depends on what we think of him. If we think he's on a busted flush draw after he checks back the turn, better to check/call. If we think he's got a weakish two pair hand, better to value bet small to get paid off. I think I'd lean towards the value bet as he might bluff the turn more with a flush draw.
