at passive tables where people pay off....limp. if there is an aggro...just fold pre

How many pots get limped around? If there's a good (say better than 50% chance) that the flop will get limped around then limp/fold. If there's usually a raise pre then just fold. More options if you're 100bb deep.

With small PP in EP, you are simply setmining, fit-or-fold.

Value of set mining is in its implied odds, so you want there to be as many players in the hand as possible.

So it really depends on table condition, and that's mostly dealing with just flop action.

Dude just buy a few extra green chips, put them in your pocket, and throw them on your stack when you lose some pots.

Having a full stack is important.

Hey, noticed the small chip stack, the 2/3 structure, then your location. I hope you're not playing the $100 max games in LA, which are basically unbeatable long term. The bike offers 100bb buy in. Their rake is still horrid though. With the .33bb drop for the jackpot, and the 2bb drop if the hand hits the river, the structure sucks balls, but at least you can always top off to $300. I've been taking things down to Pechanga lately. There's only a 4+1 drop at the 1/3 game, and when blinds chop, small blind gets it's dollar back, as opposed to still giving $1 at LA casinos.

Anyways, as far as set-mining, I tend to fold 66 and under if I'm EP and first to limp, unless I know it's a really passive table that'll get a bunch more callers.
