New table. No real reads as only 3 hands have happened. Villain, mid 20's Hispanic fella, has been in two of them. No showdowns.

Villain ~$220

Hero ~$300

Villain limps, hero in CO with KJ off-suit, raises to $15. BB calls, V calls.

Flop $41

J 9 7. two clubs. BB checks, V bets $15, hero raises to $30 to make it more unappealing for BB to chase. Normally I'd just call, but the less than 1/2 pot bet made me sort of question the situation. Please comment on this decision.

BB folds, V calls.

Turn $101

9

Villain bets $50. Easy fold for hero?

with no reads I hate a raise here, let alone a min raise. this accomplishes nothing. If bb has a draw he likes he's calling $30 the same as $15. More importantly it doesn't define the villain who donked outs range at all. It doesn't give him poor odds to draw. If your going to raise, raise for real.

as played, I'd call, readless we have to assume he opens AJ, JJ, 77. Does he limp call oop J9, 79, T8? possibly so. I would call the $50 and evaluate the river. If a club peels and he bets again, I'd fold. If he checks a club, I'd bomb it. I'd call any K,7, raise a J or 9. soul read everything else, probably folding if an unknown bets 3 streets into a pfr. checking back all non club rivers if given the chance.
