2/3/5 - 1000 buy in

Table has been active for 30 minutes. I’ve got a decent read given the time on V1 BB - Younger Gentlemen $900- headphones calling multiple bets OOP, limp calling quite a bit and raised once in the 3 orbits we’ve played.
V2 UTG+1- Older gent just sat down bought in for $750

Hero 1200 - I’m on a heater for cards but haven’t shown yet. This table is juicy, villains playing for or fold when they have it. I’m just starting to open my range.

OG limps, as do 2 others, folds to hero OTB

Hero looks down at 3d3s raises to $30

Why—- again this is fit or fold poker, I’m literally printing money when I Cbet and they fold for LESS than 1/2 pot size bet.

V1 calls, V2 calls all else fold

POT: $103

Flop: A102

Checks to hero who Cbets $40 -

Not the greatest board as the 10 hits quite a bit of their range, Broadway floats etc.

V1 calls, V2 calls

POT: $213

Turn A1027

V1 checks, V2 checks. I obviously check behind.

River: A10273

Bink. But what a crappy 3....

V1 bets $100, V2 calls $100

This feels so criminal to call rather than raise.

Hero considers the B/F line. Thoughts?

how is the pot $73 OTF? also i guess we didn't have the 3?

i can't say i play threes like this very often, even at fit-or-foldish tables. it just flops so ****ty most of the time. if we've been active, i'm probably not c-betting as played. could be worse flops but, meh. as played river there's a flush out often enough but i'm probably just calling it off.

Not a good flop to bet with 1 out to the “nuts”/no equity vs two players.

Ap i call but hate it. I dont think you can fold here

This spot is a good illustration of why pre-flop and flop play suck.

So even though the table plays fit or fold poker Preflop... you are still limping the button here? Flop I understand now is questionable.

C-betting does not work as often as you think it does, especially if multi-way.

The problem with bloating pots with 33 is that occasionally you flop a nutted hand but the vast majority of the time you don't flop anything with enough playability or equity.

ya, it's a nice hand to see flops with cheaply. you have to think about how most flops will play out. fit-or-fold is one thing but how your hand connects with flops is more important.

small PP play really poorly at these types of games where you find yourself as the only PFR. There's never enough aggression with TP or draws from passive vils, so its hard to build pots.

I think turning them into a bluff isn't a bad way to go. Isn't turn a pretty good card to double barrel? Obviously if you get raised at any point you are facing 2p+ so you can get away, but are these type of players really going to call 3 streets with a hand like A8?

well the turn was a deuce when this thread went up lol. now it's a 7. neither are great barrel cards. you can certainly abuse fit-or-fold players post but this is the wrong holdings to do it with. because you usually have what effectively amounts to air once the board runs out, you're relying on pure bluff equity. it's the equivalent of doing it with ATC.
