Hi all,
Looking for thoughts on this.
1/3 game. Effective stack is ~$280.
H: young guy. Only been playing at the table for an hour. Caught bluffing once. Winning a decent amount of hands without showdown.
V: Middle aged.Playing pretty tight and ABC for the most part. Have seen him get out of line a few times though. Did notice he cold called a 3 bet in the BB with A9.
OTTH: I'm UTG+2 with KcJc and I open to $12. V is in the cutoff and 3 bets to $30. Folds to me. I normally would fold this most of the time as I am OOP and dominated a ton here. Actually I know I should have folded this. However, the 3 bet is so small!.
I decide to call which is prob the worst option but oh well. Could 4 bet SOME of the time as we are blocking lots of hands.
($64) Flop: 10
9
2
I check and he bets $35. We call. Could raise here as well I think.
($130) Turn is an 8
We check and he bets $50. I think the only option we have is to check raise all in which we do. It'll be like 165 for him to call after betting $50 on the turn.
Thoughts on the hand? We have an open ender and a flush draw on the turn. Time to apply max pressure.
